HAWTHORN WOODS WOMEN'S CLUB
The Hawthorn Woods Women's Club's mission is to serve women and children in need in Lake County,IL. Throughout Lake County there are women and their families suffering the effects of domestic violence and homelessness. We see this need and have made it our mission to provide funds, donations and volunteers to improve their situations.

HIGHLAND PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business organization whose purpose is to help all member businesses prosper by providing programs and services designed to encouage business development and promotion, networking,education/training and advocacy.

Now in its 99th year, the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is stronger and more progressive than ever--serving 400 members and steadily growing. This growth reflects the confidence local business owners and operators have in the Chamber and demonstrates their desire to work together. Through unity there is strength and influence.

The Chamber showcases its members through various marketing efforts including six00threefive magazine and Highland Park Community Guide publications; Cable TV Commercials; Shopping, Dining, Entertainment & Services Guide; Highland Park Map; New Resident Wecome Packet; and various business and community events throughout the year.

There is another aspect of pregnancy and birth. There is an unexpected place in this journey where some families may find themselves. When a baby dies, a world is turned upside down. There is confusion, sadness, fear, and uncertainty that cannot be explained. There is sorrow where there should have been joy. During this time, it might be impossible for families to know what they might need in order to heal in the future.

Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of more than 7,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and 25 countries. At a family's request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to your hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD that can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby.

OPERATION SMILE
Recording the faces of children and their families is our greatest pleasure. That’s why we believe so strongly in the work of Operation Smile. Each year this incredible organization of more than 6,000 volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, and specialized health care professionals, perform free reconstructive surgeries for children suffering with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. (More than 100,000 children are born with a facial deformity each year in Operation Smile’s 26 partner countries.)

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS OF AMERICA
Today, Professional Photographers of America (PPA) is the world’s largest nonprofit association for professional photographers, with more than 20,000 members in 54 countries. This association seeks to increase its members’ business savvy as well as broaden their creative scope, advancing careers by providing all the tools for success...as they have since 1880.

Truly, life is more peaceful with PPA.
